‘World Clock & Watch Making Day’
View More October 10th has been recognized as the ‘World Clock & Watch Making Day’ The clock, first used by the Ancient Egyptians around 4000 BCE, has continued to be an inseparable part of our lives for centuries. In order to remind and emphasize the importance of clocks in human life, the Istanbul Chamber of Commerce (ICOC) Clockmaking and Opticianry Professional Committee Assembly has designated October 10th as the ‘World Clock & Watch Making Day’ in line with its decision.
